The First Steps to Becoming a Cherry Street Volunteer...
Thank you for your interest in volunteering here at Cherry Street Mission Ministries. We welcome the opportunity to meet with all interested volunteer candidates. Please note that the first step in our volunteer process is to attend an orientation session. During the orientation specific information regarding volunteer opportunities and the necessary paperwork required will be reviewed, as well as an overview of the ministries of Cherry Street. You can expect to hear back from us the following week to confirm your volunteer day, time, and location.
Orientations are every Thursday and two Saturdays per month as follows:
- March 13; March 27
- April 10; April 24
- May 8; May 22
- June 12; June 26
- July 10; July 24
- August 14; August 28
- September 11; September 25
- October 9; October 23
- November** 6; 13; 20
- December** 4; 11
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Cherry Street Mission Ministries, 105 17th Street (corner of Monroe St.)
**Note: These holiday orientations will be held at LifeBridge Center, 3342 Monroe Street (formerly Banner Mattress Furniture Warehouse) between Auburn and Detroit.
Please be mindful all prospective volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Also, if the above scheduled orientations are not convenient for you, you can call to schedule a one-on-one any day during the week, during regular business hours.

If you are an individual please print and complete the Volunteer Application
If you are a group leader, please complete one Group Project Confirmation form for your entire group.
