Cherry Street is serving unprecedented number of guests and needs community's help
As you may have heard from the local news, Cherry Street has experienced a staggering increase in need of services such as Food, Clothing, and Shelter.
It’s one thing to see news reports about double-digit unemployment. It’s quite another to see the double-digit effects right on your doorstep.
At Cherry Street, our shelters are overflowing -- there’s a staggering 51% increase in women alone! Of course, with more guests, we’re serving even more meals than before.
So, how can you help?
Please consider engaging the needs of our community with the support found within your family, circle of friends, co-workers, church, and neighbors by encouraging them to pick one or more of the groups from the “Opportunity List”.

Donations are accepted on the Trowbridge side of the building, at the large garage door; just ring the bell. Food items are accepted at the Madison Food Service & Community Center.
Looking to volunteer? We are in need of volunteers to help sort through, organize, and distribute the items we receive. Simply contact Brenda Torres or vist our volunteer page.
