Clothing, Household Goods, Furniture

Each year, Cherry Street’s LifeBridge Center accepts clothing, toiletries, household goods, small and large appliances, and furniture from hundreds of individuals, churches, organizations and businesses, and then distributes them free of charge to those in need.

A community-wide clothing bank located at LifeBridge Center, Clothing Your Community is partnership of Cherry Street, LaSalle Cleaners, The Andersons, Fifth Third, YMCA/JCC, WTVG- Channel 13, Toledo Free Press, K100 and Cumulus stations, United Way, ProPak, Banner Mattress and Furniture and H.O.T. Graphics.

With the help of an army of volunteers, Clothing Your Community accepts and distributes clothing year-round.  Nothing donated goes to waste: even clothes beyond repair are bundled and sold to recyclers.  The proceeds help support Cherry Street programs.

  • Last year, 6,403 visits were made by men, women, and children who received clothing via LifeBridge Center.

If you would like to donate material items; volunteer at our LifeBridge Center; have a friend or loved one who may need clothing, household goods, furniture, or appliances; or would like additional information, please contact us.
