LINK Program
Cherry Street's LINK program is designed to restore purpose, self-respect, and dignity to our guests' lives by teaching them basic job skills and good work habits through both classroom and hands-on training. During the year-long program, LINK participants put what they learn into practice by contributing at least 21 hours a week to the dailyoperations of the Cherry Street facility in which they're living.
LINK is especially suited to guests who aren't prepared to enter our more intensive Ready For Life program and/or who are employed but don't make enough to live independently.
Our guests have the opportunity to enroll in our LINK Program which is one consecutive year in length and promotes our guests to give back to the community in which they live. Our guest's volunteer a minimum of 21 hours per week while learning skills of the work force that are taught in both class-room atmosphere and hands-on training.
If you would like to donate or volunteer to help our guests; have a friend or loved one who may benefit from the program; or would like additional information, please contact us.
