From serving meals at Madison Street to organizing volunteers for Thanksgiving dinner and other events, Kathy is a tireless friend to our poor and homeless neighbors.

"I get way more than I give."

Why is it so important for Kathy to give of herself? Her answer is simple: “I’m a single Mom. I’m blessed to have a good job. just as easily, I could be a couple of paychecks away from need.”

Kathy explains further, “When the Owens Corning group goes to Cherry Street to serve lunch, it changes my attitude. People are so thankful. It makes you realize how blessed you really are.”

And we are blessed by Kathy’s devotion. Volunteers like Kathy not only serve our guests with love they reinforce and lift up our frontline stafil If you haven’t yet, consider giving of your time this year!
