For 66 years, Cherry Street Mission Ministries has been RESCUING the downtrodden, RESTORING hope to the hopeless and RELEASING God’s greatness into our community.  Cherry Street’s services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.  We never close, we never turn anyone away.

Lose the adjective, and gain the human.  Cherry Street has several key positions open for individuals who are called to look beyond the adjectives society puts on people, and see the human that God has created.  Cherry Street offers a competitive wage and benefits package for hourly and salaried positions working 25+ hours per week.  We are presently accepting resumes and applications (must submit both for consideration) for the following positions:

Operations Team Member – 
Part-time, hourly, 26 hours per week, $11.55 per hour, located at our Men's facility. Shift: 6:30pm-1:00am Friday-Monday. 
Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to our guests, assisting in the daily operational needs of the facilities, securing the premises, and maintaining an atmosphere that supports life transfromation. On-call postions currently available.
 
Cooks - 
Contingent workers, $11.55 per hour, located at our Madison Food & Community Services Center. Responsibilities include food and menu preparation to work alongside our staff on an as needed basis which could include weekends.
 
Executive Assistant to the President/CEO
The executive Assistant position will require 40 hours per week and manages the schedule of the President and CEO, providing administrative help to the Cherry Street Board of Directors, facilitates Leadership Team metting and works largely with helping manage the cultivation of donors and key partners for the Capital Campaign Project at the Life Revitalization Center (formerly Macomber high school). Candidate must possess the following:
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
  • Must be able to conduct meetings or lead group discussions
  • Must be able to work with others in a cooperative, collaborative manner
  • Strong researching skills
  • Knowledge of how to communicate with individuals one on one
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Work Direction:

Selected candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will work closely with the President/CEO. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges. The ability to interact with staff at all levels; in a fast paced enviroment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is important to this role.
