The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting the food services department at the Community Center, located at 1919 Madison St. in Toledo, Ohio, by receiving donations, organizing stock, and utilizing resources. |

Leadership |
Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by following and enforcing operational and personnel procedures. Work within a team environment, assisting where needed. |

Stewardship |
Receives and receipts items donated by unloading vehicles at drop-off site and picking up donations as scheduled; inspecting and inventorying items received. Maintains operational integrity by asking appropriate questions, using resources wisely, and striving to eliminate all waste. Ensure superior customer service to the public. Provide orientation, training, coaching, address needs of volunteer(s) and employee(s). Efficiently schedule trips for pickup of goods. Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to OSHA, ServeSafe, and other regulatory agency sanitation standards, Ohio Motor Vehicle laws, and organizational policies. Maintain security of the facility and inventory. Receive monetary and food donations. Ensure safe delivery of monetary donations to Food Service Director. |

Environment |
Work environment is primarily indoors. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures may be required. Some outdoor work and local travel (1 day per week) may be required. |

Accountability |
Conduct physical counts of inventory. Reconcile with data storage system. Maintain daily trip schedules and mileage logs. Distribute inventory information as needed. Communicate with food service team daily via email. |

Work Hours |
May work 16 to 32 hours per week. Must be flexible to work slightly varying hours as necessary, including some weekends. |

|
Skills |
Must be self-motivated. Be proficient in basic computer knowledge, spreadsheet and word processing, data entry, email usage. Maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean BMV history. Ability to lift over 50 lbs. consistently. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to remain flexible as priority change quickly. Some knowledge of food products and food handling preferred. |

Education |
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. ServeSafe Certification preferred. |
