Operations Team Member- part time

The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting the Men’s Ministries at the Main Building, located at 105 17th St, Toledo, Ohio and the Community Center, located at 1919 Madison St. or Women’s Ministries at the Sparrow’s Nest located at 436 W. Delaware St. and The Oaks at 252 Bronson Ave. in Toledo, Ohio, in Toledo, Ohio, by monitoring daily operational needs of facilities, securing premises and maintaining an atmosphere that supports life transformation.
Leadership
Serves as member of Operations Team, which is responsible for, connecting and engaging with guests, daily fulfillment of operational functions, monitoring flow of people in and around facilities, upholding organizational policies and procedures. Interact and engage with Basic Services guests about program options and basic services, including but not limited to LINK Program, Ready for Life program, I&R staff functions, bed assignments, and tour of facility. Assist guests that are exiting all programs with departure. May be responsible for shadowing job candidates and assisting with training of new employees.
Stewardship
Maintain cleanliness and security of premises, safe environment for all occupants, and abide by OSHA standards and organizational policies and procedures. Identify facility problems and place work orders as needed. Deliver superior customer service to the public, including guests, donors, visitors and volunteers. Ensure donations are documented and delivered appropriately. Utilize resources in an efficient manner. Order and replenish supplies. Distribute guest mail and medications.

Support organization by relentlessly upholding the mission, vision, core values and reputation of Cherry Street Mission Ministries in both behavior and speech.
Environment
Work environment is primarily indoors. Some outdoor work and travel between facilities may be required.
Spiritual Emphasis
Model life transformation for guests by attending church regularly, maintaining an active worship and prayer life, studying God's word, and leading with Christ-like behavior at all times. Provides spiritual guidance to guests as needed.
Accountability
Submit daily LINK rosters and fees to the LINK Advocate. Record case notes, document shift activity for oncoming personnel. Report bunk lists, guest demographics and volunteer statistics. File incident reports as needed.
Work Hours
This position will be scheduled for 24 to 32 hours per week and work either an 8-hour or 12-hour rotation shift schedule. This position may be required to work any shift (days, afternoons or nights).
Skills
Must be able to perform basic administrative tasks. Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge, spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and email usage. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks. Ability to remain flexible as priorities change quickly. Must have superior customer service skills.
Education
High school diploma, GED or 1 year equivalent experience.
