Over the last few decades, the ministries of Cherry Street have expanded from providing basic services of food, clothing, and shelter to include purposeful and transformational mentoring through Biblically based programs. With the acquisition of the Life Revitalization Center (former Macomber High School), God is calling Cherry Street to a new level of service by developing community collaborations to offer education, vocational training, job-skills and placement services all under one roof.
The first of many collaborations and partners include Penta Career Center who now holds GED classes within the Life Revitalization Center. Classes are open to Cherry Street guests as well as members of our community. These collaborations will be built on the 68-year-heritage established by Jesse and Bertha Fleck of meeting the basic needs of all to come to us and by creating an environment of hope, redemption, and life transformation through the message of Jesus Christ.
